About Viterra Malt

Viterra is the largest malt producer in Australia, with seven plants, including our specialty malting facility in Ballarat, producing more than 550,000 tonnes per annum.

Malt produced by Viterra is sold under the 'Joe White Maltings' brand name and supplies brewers in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines and Malaysia, as well as Australia.

Viterra's integrated barley sourcing, combined with our superior technology, has made Joe White Maltings Australia's No 1 export malt.
