The Southern indicator fell 5 cents for the week with 16.5, 17.0 and 18.5 micron types increasing 2-5 cents. The other merino types eased 7-16 cents with 22.0 micron falling 25 cents. Merino Skirtings eased mainly in the finer free types, while Crossbreds were stronger across all types with 26.0 micron up 49 cents and 28-30 up 28-31 cents.

Fremantle

There was a strong sale in Fremantle this week with the WMI climbing 11 cents on last week’s close. 18.0-18.5 micron rose 25 and 22 cents respectively while 19.5 and 22.0 micron were up 10 cents. Slight increases were seen for 20.0 micron of 2 cents and 5 cents for 21.0 micron types.
