Wheat & Durum

Viterra works directly with strategic wheat breeding programs in Western Canada and leading global food manufacturers to offer customers a range of superior wheat and durum varieties with access to end-use markets around the world.

Varieties include:

• CWRS wheat varieties - desired for quality bread products
• CPSR wheat varieties - desired for flat breads and crackers
• AC® Navigator and Brigade - desired for their colour and gluten levels for superior pasta products

Barley

Viterra has access to superior feed, malt and forage barley varieties to meet agronomic and market demands.  Viterra’s barley varieties are a result of many years of developing and evaluating varieties for different markets.

Varieties include:

• VR AC Major – a high yielding malt variety
  
• VR CDC Champion – the highest yielding feed barley in the market
• Other Malt Barley varieties
• Other Feed Barley varieties
