Do You Need to be Inducted?
If you are a grower, carrier or passenger who requires access to a Viterra site in Australia, you need to demonstrate you have successfully completed the Viterra safety induction by presenting a Viterra Safety Card.
How Are You Inducted?
Viterra has developed an online safety induction module that can be accessed at https://safetycard.viterra.com.au. The process, which takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, includes an assessment component and quizzes growers on traffic management, operating equipment, and reporting incidents and injuries, among other key safety components.
[Please turn off pop-up blockers to undertake the online module.]
Why Must Passengers Be Inducted?
Viterra is committed to the safety of everyone who visits our sites - employees, growers, carriers, passengers, visitors and contractors. Everyone who requires access to a Viterra site, unaccompanied by a Viterra employee, needs to be aware of site-specific safety requirements, procedures and responsibilities. For this reason, passengers over the age of 15 must undergo a safety induction.
