Viterra expanded its wool business into New Zealand in 2011 with the establishment of an office at the Viterra NZ headquarters in Auckland. The NZ operation exports both greasy and processed wools to various international markets and also sells into the domestic market.
NZ wool predominately services the home textile markets, broadening Viterra's global customer base and supplementing our apparel exports from Australia.
Viterra's highly specialised and experienced wool export team matches the needs of first-stage wool processors with the raw product produced by Australia and New Zealand (greasy wool).
The wool is sourced and blended to mill specifications, and delivered to the customer's required destination.
