Job Summary:Responsible for operating grain handling, cleaning, milling systems, and product transfer systems at optimum levels to ensure designated quality levels of finished products and extraction levels.
Essential Job Functions:
Operates milling equipment at optimum levels to ensure designated quality and extraction levels. Operates all cleaning machines at their optimum levels for separating wheat from screenings. Monitors production schedule to ensure press bins have proper grades and quantities for pasta products being produced. Follows blend schedule for bringing durum from outdoor storage to Daily Mix Bins and through the cleaning process. Operates low carb system to meet desired addition rates and accuracies. Maintains Master Sanitation schedule and HACCP documentation for assigned area of responsibility. Maintains constant wheat moisture to first grinding roll by periodic wheat sampling.
Other Job Requirements: Maintains accurate records of finished prodcuts/by-products destinations, times, and weights. Maintains daily inventory of finished product/by-product and in-process dins along with documenting the products in these bins. Monitors regrind system and works with packaging personnel to keep the system running efficiently without mixing different grades of product. Periodic sampling of finished products and deliver to lab. Any other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Job Requirements: Requires High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Requires B.S. degree in Milling Science or completion of the IAOM correspondence course in Milling Science with a minimum of one (1) year experience in mill operation or 10 years of milling experience. Two (2) years experience in manufacturing environment with wheat milling experience preferred. Requires strong mechanical background. Must possess strong leadership skills to promote safety, sanitation, and quality as stated by guidelines of DGPC. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work in high dust and noise area. Must be able to climb ladder to 20'. Must be able to enter confined spaces. Must be able to receive medical clearance to wear respirator.

Job Summary: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, & repairs for plant facilities and equipment to minimize downtime. Assist with the accomplishment of capital improvements to plant facilities and equipment in a timely manner and without risk of product contamination.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop operational knowledge of all plant equipment to effectively perform troubleshooting, repair, & maintenance. Read blueprints and piping schematics to effectively troubleshoot equipment and complete projects. Perform planned/repair projects with little or no supervision. Perform and document PMs with little or no guidance within established time standards. Utilize and maintain personal hand tools & power tools in a safe and appropriate manner. Perform routine checks of high temp and steam boilers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, air handlers, sprinklers, fire pump, and record gauge readings in utility log book. Develop skills in order to successfully operate the metal lathe, milling machine, drill press, bench grinder, plasma cutter, powered metal worker, hydraulic press, and welders including stick, gas, solder, and tig. Identify and remedy hazards in the work environment to protect self and others. Document daily work by providing a summary of work accomplished in log book.
Other Job Functions: Develop skills to perform basic electrical motor, fuse, and switch replacements. Perform Emergency Evacuation procedures including documentation requirements. Perform basic overhead rigging and hoisting techniques in a safe manner. Identify machine parts and project materials properly and with enough detail so that MRO can accurately place orders Perform basic building maintenance functions, as needed. Seek assistance when performing project or repair tasks that are beyond skill level. Maintain current GMP, Safety, Food Safety, & technical knowledge by actively participating in training. Abide by Company policies and rules. Communicate with operators, supervisors, and managers to ensure that information is shared. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
