As we continue to work through the COVID-19 situation, I would like to provide you with the latest update as we adjust to this rapidly evolving event.
We are a vital part of the global food supply chain, and our end users rely on us for essential food ingredients. Various levels of governments have recognized agricultural and food companies as critical infrastructure necessary to the continued provision of food and food products, and the need for business such as yours and ours to keep operating during this challenging time, playing our role in feeding the world. We appreciate your support in keeping the supply chain moving.
Above all, we continue to take the necessary steps to protect our employees, our customers, and our suppliers, while operating responsibly, safely and efficiently. We will continue to refine our response plans as we move forward and new information becomes available.
As stated in an earlier message, Viterra’s location offices will be inaccessible to the public until further notice. However, all of our locations continue to be open for business. Our staff can continue to assist you via phone or through email. Whether it is contracting grain, arranging delivery or setting up Viterra Direct Deposit and unload alerts via myViterra, we are here to help.
As we continue to unload grain at our facilities, please also remember that when delivering grain to us, refrain from entering our receiving office. Our employees will arrange to have your unload paperwork brought to you.
Our team is eager to keep working with you and continue providing the quality service you expect from us. While we might be operating a little differently, it’s critical that we continue to support our farm customers to market and move their products.
Thank you for choosing to work with Viterra. We’re proud to partner with you and look forward to working together as we navigate through this unusual situation.
