Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) and the Canada’s Farm Show advisory board are thrilled to announce exciting new changes coming to Canada’s Farm Show in June 2020.
Global food demand is increasing due to global population and food demand is expected to increase by 60 to 98 percent by 2050. Saskatchewan is well positioned to help the world lead this challenge as on of Canada’s top crop producers.
“We have been working hard with the advisory committee behind the scenes to build a new direction for the show,” said Tim Reid, President & CEO of REAL. “With the increase of global food demand on the horizon coupled with new competition in the market now is the time for Canada’s Farm Show to redefine the show’s value proposition for the future. Farming is adapting and changing; farm shows need to do the same.”
On Monday, December 9, Reid announced the exciting changes including the change in title from Canada’s Farm Progress Show to Canada’s Farm Show and introducing a new visual identity.
Other major changes to the event include:
- Moving indoors – showcasing the world class infrastructure of the Evraz Place campus
- New show dates – Tuesday, June 16 to Thursday, June 18
- New ticketing – one ticket grants you access to all three days of the show
- New launchpad – will be home to he AgX Speaker Series and new product launches
- New entertainment - Alpha Bull Rodeo will make its inaugural appearance in 2020 providing exciting entertainment and a unique opportunity to network
Along with many of the new and exciting changes, REAL was honoured to recognize the show’s presenting sponsor, Viterra, who have been incredible supporters of the show for over ten years. Today, it was announced Viterra has signed a three year sponsorship contract.

Pacific Terminal Deconstruction Notification
Viterra will commence deconstruction operations, under Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (VFPA) permit, of Viterra’s PAC3 Elevator located at 1803 Stewart Street, Vancouver British Columbia.
