Our Community Investment Partners

One way that Viterra gives back to communities and the agricultural industry is through community investments and partnerships. Our investments promote sports and recreation programs with a focus on youth, agriculture awareness,  grain industry education and safety, and health and wellness. Along with many others, Viterra supports the following groups/events:

4-H Foundation
For many years, Viterra has supported the provincial 4-H clubs from Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Our funding helps the 4-H chapters provide innovative initiatives that inspire youth to become contributing leaders in their communities. 4-H's vision is to help youth achieve their full potential. This sponsorship enables Viterra to build relationships with the agricultural industry's leaders of tomorrow.

Agriculture in the Classroom / Ag for Life
Viterra supports Ag in the Classroom by donating to each of its divisions in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and was the title sponsor of the Ag in the Classroom student resource book titled "The Adventures of Michael and Mia: Stewards of the Land". Viterra supports Ag for Life in Alberta via the Ag101 program, which helps students understand where their food comes, and the careers available to them in the agriculture industry. Ag in the Classroom and Ag for Life exist to provide balanced, factual information to teachers and students and encourage young people to make educated decisions relating to food, environment, careers and lifestyle.
